The first major release in quite some time, WP 2.0 (code named ‘Duke’ after Duke Ellington) has a treasure trove of new items: WYSIWYG Editing, redesigned backend, faster posting, and more – read up about it at their website, and download a copy.

While I plan to wait and let others flush out the remaining bugs, I will be tinkering with it in the new year and plan to migrate as soon as reasonable (mid-January, likely). Stay tuned for observations…
